What is Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)?

TRV is a counterfoil document issued by the Canadian government. This is also referred to as an entry visa or visitor visa. This document allows foreign nationals to travel to Canada temporarily. It is an official document that will be placed in the passport to show that the concerned person has met all the requirements for admission in Canada. The duration of the visa processing takes from two to three business weeks based on the reason for the visit.

The immigrant or the foreign nationals can apply online on their own through an MYCIC account or they can approach a top immigration consultant for the process of application in a professional way. Why? It is best to move through an immigration consultant because they have in-depth knowledge about the process. Moreover, while applying on our own, there are chances for an error on the application. If there is an error the application will be rejected and cannot re-apply for the next 5 years.
